Move Threads
It would be cool if the starter of a thread had the ability to downgrade his thread location (e.g. from General Q A to DB and from there to ChitChat BUT NOT THE OPPOSITE). Sometimes ppl accidentally post in the wrong spot and somtimes threads get out of hand. For example, see Die, Microsoft Die!!! (thanx for finally moving that one )

Well ...
Can't you use the Move/Copy Thread option under the Admin options located at the right hand bottom corner of the page?

It would be cool if we did it ourselves and didn't have to bother a mod.

I don't think so. At least for some options. For e.g. I was able to close the Reporting an entire thread thread using the Open/Close thread option from that box.
Never tried moving, as I always follow the rules.
Else, as Megatron says, our ever-attentive moderators are always willing to cooperate.

Open/Close is the only admin option that is available to us.
