The main advantage will be Object Oriented Programming. That means polymorphism
and inheritance in classes. I don't know when it'll be released.

This seems to me like MS taking another swing at Java. You know the old saying, if you can't beat em, join em

    Question

I purchased VB6 Professional to develop some In-House programs I've been contemplating. Certainly these projects could have been contracted out, but I wanted to learn the language myself and at least know what went into developing programs and writing code.

My question is this... After reading and and excersisng with a few VB6 books. It seems to me, I'll not utilize the full benefits of this version. What level of programming would you be at, to need VB7???

    Hi there...

Microsoft planned to release Visual Basic 7 with all the promised features (that I'm not gonna figure out) in 2001.

    Hope you'll be patient enough

    See you,
