what's the difference....
...between thse two CPUs:
AMD ThunderBird 1.4GHz AYHJA CPU Guaranteed to 1533MHz+
and
AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1.4GHz "AYHJA" 266MHz FSB (Socket A)
the first one apparently costs a bit more. is it cos it's overclockable to 1.533ghz and the other isn't? i would have thought both could be overclocked to that speed.

Perhaps the first doesnt have a 266MHz FSB ?

Yeah well maybe the top one has a 400MHz FSB and the bottom one is just making sure you're aware of it

I expect the top one has been tested and will overclock with no problems, so it costs more. The other probably hasn't been tested so there's no guarantee it will work above it's standard clock speed.

i see. it's only a few quid more expensive, so i might go with that.
