[RESOLVED] Add data to excel from program

hi everyone.

unsure if i'm in the correct place however i am creating a call logger for calls i make



once i click save, id like everything to be uploaded to the following excel file "call log.xlsx", (without opening it if it is possible)



and if possible on each day a new sheet is automatically made and labeled with the date ready for the information to be saved for that day

if there is a better way of doing this either without excel please let me know.

Thank you looks like ive got some reading up to do.

this does seem like a very long winded way of doing it (although not read it all yet),

do you think there is a much more simple way of doing it? or is this the best way?
