    lol, perhaps it's pronounced like "Quim".
    Because Q IM doesn't sound good.

    It's just like with AIM. I pronounce it like "aim", but people pronounce it like "A I M".

    Weird, but it's whatever the person's more comfortable with .

    Here in UK quim is slang for er..
    female genitalia shall we say.

    I presume the word isn't used in qubeland.
