I'm bulding my own system and I was wondering what motherboard you guys would reccomend. It has to be able to take a lot of peripherals( a lot of PCI slot thingies and the other thing) and a Pentium 4 or AMD 1.4 Gigahertz processor. Could you also Give me the estimated price for the motherboard you reccomend. Much apprieciated.

well you have a lot of choices. one was what Dennis suggested and then you have Asus or Abit or Tyan like CyberSurfer said.

most will work with any processor. but maybe geared to work with one, who knows.
