AMD vs. Intel (not a trash-Intel thread)
Hmm...
I was planning on putting together my own machine, and I need to choose a good CPU + Motherboard + Memory combo.
The machine will be targeted on less gaming, more dev.
What do you think will go right in this situation?

Please don't make this a trash-Intel thread.

AMD typically provides better price/speed ratios, and AMD mobos support DDR RAM, rather than super expensive RDRAM like the P4 and some P3s.
