    That would involve me using the mouse. The mouse if for the weak and is a waste of my time.

    No wonder you hate windows. If you don't like GUI, Windows isn't for you.

    Oh, I love GUI. Besides, Linux has X Windows. I've used MWM in Ultrix and Gnome in Linux.

    But, so much work has gone into the MS Windows GUI, that there are more shortcut keys. It is easier for me to avoid the mouse in MS Windows then in X.

    If I were picking an OS on interface alone, I would pick MS Windows. Since I have more demands, I'm trying to push the world to improve the X interface.

    I rarely use favourites, i rarely use History, I never use links, I never use search. It irritates me when people leave Favourites/history/search window open.

    use links as a toolbar, not nessesarily for links but for shortcuts and all other kinds of crap, since it produces popupmenutrees intead of opening the folder
    Use
    writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
    writing haskell makes your life easier:
    reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
    To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.
