Controls
Hello, i am having problems with my VB game. I have developed this game entirely in visual basic, and it uses controls, therefore i have included the control DLLs etc in my installation program (that i made with INF SETUP) - these files are automatically inserted into the users C:\SYSTEM dir - the problem is, i've heard that my game has screwed up a few peoples pcs, i dont want this to happen.
Can someone tell me 1. A reliable application that will allow me to include aditional files such as sounds and images in my setup exe 2. How i might use this program to safely place the control files needed into the users' SYSTEM dir 3) why this is only happening to a few users who download my game.
Thanks a lot

Well, I would say use the Package and Deployment wizard that comes with VB6; its not perfect, heck its not even great, but it does the job and usually doesn't make errors like that.
Otherwise, I would say get ahold of InstallShield or Wise Installer (there are downloadable versions on the net) because they are the best for commercial installations.
