    Help (compiling/linking problems)

When I try to compile (or link) anything in visual C++ 6.0, my computer freezes. I have to press ctrl+alt+delete, and then in the Close Program box I have to end Winoldap which is not responding. What's causing this and how can I stop it?

I also had the same problem sometime and I could not figure out what to do.

I just formated my hard drive if you don't mind then can I ask that are you using DSL or any service from bell sympatico?
