    Ummmmmmmmmmmmm............

    It's very complicated......

The user name was assigned by the IT folks. I'll give you one clue and one clue only!

My name is Kathryn Barr. That's the only clue I'll give you!

You'd be surprised how many interesting usernames that naming convention has created. My friend Lisa's username is grovel.

is it just the first 4 chars of the last name?

Mine used to be kilhch at college, that was pretty crappy, so i changed it to chrisjk, hence my beatuiful username now.

I've also been known as U9989 - that was at some insurance company i worked for.

no, it's Christopher John Kilhams. The only reason I had that was because I dislike my surname, otherwise I would have had cjkilhams or similar, but i don't like it, so I didn't! Fascinating this isn't it?!?

Perhaps I should have just been U9989...

When I created my first e-mail account, I was still addicted to RML, and Filburt was the coolest character. But the name Filburt was rejected, so I slapped a "1" on it. I also occasionally create accounts using "Filburt2" if Filburt1 is taken , or for games I usually just type "Arien".

I'm lucky because my last name only has four characters in it. Some people with long names get their last names cut off and then their first initial tacked on. Mine is short and sweet. Very easy.

My husband used to joke that if we had a girl her name should be Candice but we'd call her Candy as a nickname.......her name would then be Candy Barr....thank goodness he was just kidding...my daughter would never have forgiven us!

there was a footballer who used to play for arsenal and now QPR by the name of "Paul ****ov" (*Dammit they won't allow that word Dic@ov). I feel so sorry for the bloke for having parents like that

Quite a common one for me is "Master Baker", and when I mean common, I mean every body who meets me, says it and think that I have never heard of it

I knew a guy once name of Neil Down, and here at the office we have a Dean Martin. Used to be a Don Martin here a few years back, too.

My brother has a newspaper 'births' clipping framed on his wall, says something to the effect of

    HEAD
    To Jim and Maggie
    a bouncing boy
    ****

    Where'd the **** come from ???

My previous post lost a bit in the translation where the baby's name ended up as ****. Is this some kind of auto-censorship?

Will it work if I write it like this D.I.C.K

    or D-I-C-K
    or

    D
    I
    C
    K
    .
