    Exclamation Lions in Somerset

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/uk/...00/1503944.stm

This is only 1 mile away from where I live I'm scared, I often walk across fields in the dark to get to my local liquor emporium!

Well you'll just have to find an off-licence that delivers. Or send your Mrs.

Of course, we're used to lions down here....

    LOL
Sounds like an ep from the Simpsons... ie This photo may bear no resemblance to the actual animal seen by the motorists.

Why is it that all these cat stories around the world turn out to be pumas that either escaped from a circus or were let loose etc... why only pumas? I think it is cos the avg person doesnt know what they look like and so can be tricked into believing it

There has been similar ongoing stories in the Blue Mountains area of western Sydney and also in Western Australia... can u hear tourist trap??

I reckon it's just a ploy to boost the local tourist industry.
