Where Is my MSDOS prompt
Did they take out DOS in Windows 2000?

Yeah the days of DOS are gone...Well they will be once Windows 98 and 95 are gone. Win2K has a command prompt emulator, if you will. You cant like restart in MS-DOS mode (well you can but Windows is still running).
You just proved that sig advertisements work.

You can only boot into a GUI. I think you are referring to the boot option where it asks for a login and then just opens a command prompt instead of a taskbar and everything else.
This is because NT is security-based; you MUST log in to do ANYTHING. Except for taking the hard drive it out and dropping it five feet onto hard concrete.

Lol you know my brother said be was able to break into an NTFS drive with a Linux boot disk. He said he could have formatted the drive 2... He's learning from the best...)yes i know that wouldnt work if it there was a password on the BIOS and it was set the boot sequence wasnt on the floppy drive before c:\...)

NTFS should only allow access to unknown users by assuming they're a guest.
