And...
BMP Files?
I Say "Bump" Files, but when I said that a few years back to
some of my co-workers, they gave me puzzled puppy hound
eyes, and then said, "Oh, You mean BeeEmmPee Files!"

I say image most of the time. If I have to be specific, then I type
Gif, bmp or bitmap. I don't think I've ever said Gif out loud.
