    if you have 2 comps...
    Use
    writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
    writing haskell makes your life easier:
    reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13

    Maybe two AIM installations (different versions might work)?

    Not sure about AIM but YM allows simultaneous browser based
    messaging and through the software client.

    Once I talked to myself with the same screen name on either ends.

    You apparently need a significant other.

    Trillian lets you open multiple connections.

    Yahoo lets you do that on different machines. One of me mates was chatting on one Pc, i was in another room logged in under his username. I sent stuff to random people, and he got their replies, which mainly consisted of "Who/what the f**k are you?" and other cool stuff. Also sent random crap to the people he was chatting to which of course was completely unrelated to what he was saying...

    Hours of fun!!
