    Post Friday 13th: unlucky for me?

    I am planning to do a parachute jump without a parachute on Friday.

    Am I going to be unlucky and die? Maybe I should do it another day, maybe I shouldn't be so superstitious.

    Well, since I'd consider that bad luck anyways, I'd venture that the negativity of Friday the 13th would negate the original bad luck, meaning you'll be fine.

    Don't forget to "PULL THE ROPE".

    And watch out for any TALL TREES or any UPWARD WIND episodes, Lightening, Cyclonic events, flying birds, black dogs, jet airliners, helicopters, thunderbolts, chimney stacks, tall buildings, ... and flying pigs. And PIGS CAN FLY?

    Reminds me of the trip to Hong Kong.

    I stayed at a hotel with no official 4th floor. The hotel was numbered 1,2,3, 5 ,6,7,8 and so on. I asked "so what happened to the 4th floor"?
    I thought some idiot didn't know how to count.

    Official Explanation:
    The Chinese are sooooo superstitious that 4 is a BAD LUCK number as it sounds like the Chinese word for DEATH, everyone steers clear of everything to do with the number 4.
