    IE 5 Problem...

I know this isn't really related to VB but I have no other place to turn to. Once, I tried downloading a zip file and I accidentally pressed "Don't ask for this file type" and "Open From Current Location" was highlighted. So now, when ever I click on a link, it tries to open the Zip File directly unless I right click the link and click on "Save Target As". Unfortunately, some sites do not allow to right click or save target as and It's starting to get annoying try to get around this problem. I want to fix it and I dont know how. I was hoping someone here has experienced this before and knows the sollution to it! Thanx for any help!

That doesn't work. Can it be done through the registry or something, because that's easier for me.

    1-Go in the Internet proprety.
2-Go in the tab named : Security
    3-Click custom level.
    4-Go in Download
    5-File Download : Enable

I hope that will help :\

Nope...Doesn't really do much. What I meant is that when ever i click on a link to download a ".zip" extension file, it automatically opens it from it's current location so I can not save it into the directory of my choice!

It's a mime type, so look at the ZIP file association in Windows Explorer.

What does the file association have to do with anything in this case tho?? :S
It's all happening through internet explorer. It's not opening the "Save As" dialog for me to save the file in the directory of my choice.

Ok I understand what you meant by that. Except that I prefer the registry. I fixed the problem by deleting a Key Value from under the ShellX folder in the registry
