    Code from allapi.net --

This will get all of the memory data for an Win9x system.
    Code:
    Private Type MEMORYSTATUS
        dwLength As Long
        dwMemoryLoad As Long
        dwTotalPhys As Long
        dwAvailPhys As Long
        dwTotalPageFile As Long
        dwAvailPageFile As Long
        dwTotalVirtual As Long
        dwAvailVirtual As Long
    End Type
Private Declare Sub GlobalMemoryStatus Lib "kernel32" (lpBuffer As MEMORYSTATUS)
    Private Sub Form_Load()
        'KPD-Team 1998
        'URL: http://www.allapi.net/
        'E-Mail: [email protected]
        Dim MemStat As MEMORYSTATUS
        'retrieve the memory status
        GlobalMemoryStatus MemStat
        MsgBox "You have" + Str$(MemStat.dwTotalPhys / 1024) + " Kb total memory and" + Str$(MemStat.dwAvailPageFile / 1024) + " Kb available PageFile memory."
    End Sub
But, if you want the size of the swap file (*.swp) on a certain disk, then you will have to use a findfile routine to locate the file and then get it's size (red below)

    Code:
    'Create a form with a command button (command1), a list box (list1)
    'and four text boxes (text1, text2, text3 and text4).
'Type in the first textbox a startingpath like c:\
'and in the second textbox you put a pattern like *.* or *.txt
