    Does Macromedia dominate?

    Does Macromedia dominate web design? I personally think so.

    Dreamweaver, Ultradev, ColdFusion Studio, JRun, Kawa, Homesite (which will soon be discontinued, I think), Spectra, Flash, Fireworks, Director, Generator, Shockwave, Freehand, SiteSpring, Authorware.

    I know there's a lot in there that isn't EXTREMELY popular, but I mean with Dreamweaver/Ultradev, CF Studio, Flash, Fireworks, and Freehand, they have a lineup of amazing software, all tightly integrated.

    Any opinions? The only challenge I see is perhaps ASP.NET, if that catches on.

    And I hope they keep Homesite around.
