The flame war begins... (hopefully not)

    Ow...

Gimme a break, 'moron' is a little strong...

(Besides, it does in fact clearly state that you should 'not click there' )

well, posting links that crash windows isn't exactly clever, so i'd say it's moronic. but then, clicking on links that seem suspicous is also moronic

    Btw@Nullus...

Don't you ever read the hyperlink description at the bottom of IE/Netscape on the statusbar? It tells you what youre accessing... and when it makes reference to file:///c:/... I'm generally careful not to touch it, unless I know what it is...

(Hey... you could theoretically FDisk somones computer through a hyperlink!!!! LMAO)

    Yeah...

Nah... It wouldn't Mark, it's only a bug in the Windows 95'/98' kernel component. Thats why if you use NT4, or Linux for that matter, it wont work... It also works if you do AUX/AUX, and I don't know how that affects an NT4 system... Hehe...

(I have some big future plans for that little link...)

You're very late on the uptake with that one - it's been done before and most people are patched.

It probably doesn't. However, everyone should always get the security updates from windowsupdate.microsoft.com before doing anything after you install it.
