Name that screw

I'm trying to replace two screws for a piece of furniture. All I have is this diagram of them from the instruction manual, but not the name or description. They are about 2-3 inches long. The manufacturer has a minimum replacement part order cost so it would cost me about $20 to replace them through the manufacturer, so I'm trying to find it elsewhere, but as you may guess, searching for "wood screws" yields a lot of results. Can anyone help me identify these?

My grandfather owned a custom furniture shop and in the years I spent there the only thing I saw that even comes close to that was a carburetor idle screw from an old Briggs & Stratton lawn mower engine. What "piece of furniture" is this from?

If you really need it and can't improvise then you're probably better off forking out the $20.

I guess I can add this to the list of reasons I buy most of my furniture from the Amish...

Yep looks like a Custom Screw, you are probably better off just paying the $20

It is a custom screw. It looks similar to a locking cam bolt where the head protrudes and inserts into a locking cam nut. Very popular these days with furniture kits.

I have absolutely no idea what the state of hardware stores of self assembly furniture is in Serbia but I think I'd still head to whatever hardware store there is and check out the fixings aisle.

It's not a wood screw really. Google "Furniture fixings", "Flat pack fixings" or "cam lock dowel"

I have never come across such a fixing in 14 years and we deal with flat pack kitchens often. I guess it's custom to the USA since you said $20. I have printed it off and will take it to howdens tomorrow and see if i can get a name.

Why must this fixing be so special? Maybe if you explain whats it's purpose i can help. We do make furniture.

No B&Qs in Serbia. But I moved to SF a year ago, so there might be some around here. As for the screw, here's the exact detail:

It's item #410 on page 4 of the instruction manual for the head board. The middle section doesn't seem to be "used". The bottom part and top part have threads of different width and they match the pre-drilled holes I guess.
