Adapting to Resolution???
Here is the problem kids...I am doing a webpage in Dreamweaver and it is made at 800x600 and it looks great. However, when I open it using 1024x768 there is a lot of white space on the right hand side of the page. I have been told that a javascript would allow me to center the page or remedy this problem somehow.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

well, I can tell you that using Screen.Height and Screen.Width will give you the resolution. Also, if you are giving things like tables hard-coded widths and heights, it would be better to use percentages. Like :
<table width="200">
may look great, like you said, at 800X600, but what about other resolutions. Using :
<table width="25%">
will work dynamically with any resolution.
I hope that gets you started on fixing your problem

or you could just put the whole page inside a table, and then center the table. That would make sure that it is centered for all resolutions.
