    DOS Windows

    OK, whre do I start if I want to make a 'fake OS' (e.g. with windows) in QB?

    Well, you can do what I did... Goto http://www.allbasiccode.com/ and download the WINDOWS VERSION of the reader as well as the 14 Meg monster (SLOW DOWNLOAD) that you will need. Once you get both, run the program and do a seach for DRAW. IT should allow you to EXTRACT a file named DRAW.ZIP. Open it and you will see FONTS and a BAS file inside. Now this was made for POWERBASIC, but if you are good you can convert it to QB. Run the program and you will see a REALLY neat replica of a Window as well as FONTS and buttons etc....
