Re: Facebook
ChitChat is not active enough at this time of night to hold up any type of conversation.
I wish this forum was as active as it was in the past.

Re: Facebook
There's a fairly new Social Media site called www.NextDoor.com
It's designed for your local neighborhood... You have to supply something like your water bill account to join...
It's pretty useful. I asked for recommendations for a Plumber and got several good replies... If your neighborhood isn't on it - you get to be a moderator for starting it...

Re: Facebook
Our neighborhood isn't all that big to start with. And then we have even less people that actually care.

Re: Facebook
I signed up... and it put me in the wrong neighborhood. Unless it grouped me into a bigger neighborhood than I actually live in.
There are less then 25 houses in my neighborhood.

Re: Facebook
You know, you could actually go and talk to your neighbors. There's a book: 'How To Talk To Your Neighbors for Dummies'.
"Ok, my response to that is pending a Google search" - Bucky Katt.
"There are two types of people in the world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data sets." - Unk.
"Before you can 'think outside the box' you need to understand where the box is."
