    Re: Poll 7

You're welcome. I was having trouble getting the poll to go away after a person takes it. In trying to resolve that issue (which I didn't manage to do), I managed to set that up as an alternative. It's not perfect, but as you implied - the feedback is kind of cool to see.

You don't see the comments, but still. One person commented about a PDA device they use. I felt pretty stupid realizing that I left those off. One of many technologies smart phones has killed off.....

Yeah I didn't like waiting for the results. Plus I think that last poll was up for a few weeks longer than the others... Curious on the results of that one.

Also... PDAs... really? Cant blame yourself for not putting it on the poll though, its obviously a poll of newer technology. Otherwise you would have a really large poll. If you put PDA might as well put feature phone... then flip phone... etc.

Crays, mainframes, and so on. I think the poll might as well just cover the modern and relatively popular tech rather than every possible variation.

Actually, it would be interesting to know how many of our members are still coding for mainframe or mini computers.

We have so many programming on outdated technologies (aka VB 6 - zing!) that we likely have a number doing mainframes still too!

Brad, VB6 is still alive. Just read any of the numerous CC discussions. Carlos or Fatina will be happy to explain it to you.
