    Questions about C++

    How much does MS Visual C++ cost? Is it worth buying if I know nothing about C++?

    I don't want to purchase something I might never be able to use.

    I would buy it. C and C++ are easy to learn and you can learn them with one of the best compilers.

    You don't have to buy VC++, although it is pretty much the best you can get for Windows.

    GNU c++ compiler, Borland are both good choices.

    You can get the Standard Edition for about US$99 (sometimes there's a rebate that'll make it cheaper). The Academic Edition of the Professional Edition sells for about that same price if you are eligible.

    Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
    I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.
