[RESOLVED] Insurance ad
I am seeing this ad at all times on my Firefox browser.

Re: Insurance ad
You should only see it once... twice tops I think... unless you're also clearing out your cookies... in which case... yeah, it's possible you're seeing more than you should. I usually get them twice a day (once on each computer).

Re: Insurance ad
I started experiencing the ad after I upgraded to 29.0.1 of Firefox. I may have also messed up my firefox settings and I will get around to fixing them in a while. Hopefully the ad disappears after that.

Re: Insurance ad
As techgnome stated - check your cookie settings to make sure they are turned on. If they are not turned on, then there will be no way to set the cookie to show that you've already seen it.

Re: [RESOLVED] Insurance ad
I am using Chrome and it is really annoying. Its not a small Add and when you close it, a smaller one appears, you try to close that one and if you hover the add before hitting the 'X', the large one comes again. This happens every time I select a new topic or refresh the page! And if I don't, then after a couple of minutes it pops up again. I have no control over the cookies as this is an enterprise computer.
Please do something about it!

Re: [RESOLVED] Insurance ad
I am using Chrome too and this just started happening to me this morning. Yesterday it was ok. Ive clicked on the 'x' to dismiss it but still every page load it goes and fills 1/2 the screen for 5 seconds or so and then goes back to small size but after the first click I no longer get the 'x' on the full size version of it.

Me too. This SOOOOOOO Annoying!!! Do these idiots really think anybody would ever use the services they're providing when they intrusively bombard them with ridiculous ads???

Re: [RESOLVED] Insurance ad
I jsut posted in the other thread about this... when it was first posted this morning, I thought it was one of the usual "Welcome" ads... but now that i've been fighting it for the last 10 minutes, I see that it's actually one of the footer banner ads that's acting like it's king of the world. And clicking it closed doesn't seem to be helping... and no, I don't have cookies disabled or cleared out. Also using Chrome.

Re: [RESOLVED] Insurance ad
I'm looking into this. It seems there are multiple issues for me to have addressed. There is a welcome ad (the big one over the middle of the page) and then the bottom overlay ad. Both should show a maximum of about two times for any given session (unless you hvae cookies disabled. I'm asking for verification that these settings are being honored. It is possible at times you'll see different ads more times, but in these two areas you should not see the -same- ad more than twice in a given session.

Seeing the same obstructive insurance.com ad all morning long. I cant get rid of it no matter how many times I click on that 'x'. No browser setting changes what so ever.

Re: [RESOLVED] Insurance ad
Yeah, I got the two welcome ones first thing this morning, one was for Insurance dawt cawm ... which is what I thought this was about initially... then somewhere around noon, this one started popping up and that's when I noticed it shrink itself down to the banner at the foot, and I thought, well now this is odd... especially when I couldn't figure out how to close it...
