    Hi, I want to creat a mail check program but I have no idea where to start I know that I should use the mapi and the other control for mail but I can't find any documantation for them?? If anyone can help please.
    Also how should make my program to check for new emails??

    Please, if someone can at least tell me where I can find a toturial for Microsoft MAPI Control I reall appreciate it.

    You could go mad trying to work out how to use the MAPI controls shipped with VB .. or you could go to http://www.planetsourcecode.com/vb and search for BuzMail (which I wrote) that looks after mail for you.

    Book

    There's a book called Internet Programming with Visual Basic 5 - ISBN 1-55851-558-5

    That explains MAPI (and other things) reasonably well. It costs $45 though.

    As far as I know, the MAPI controls with VB5 and VB6 are the same.
