okay, just 2 more questions, both about setting up.
1. Is there a way that i can set up the program to run completely off CD with just a shortcut or maybe just the exe on the user's hard drive?
2. I just installed VB6 with Visual Studio and instead of the Setup Wizard, I have "Package and Deployment Wizard". The thing that appears to be a step backwards is that in adding files to the support folder, I can only choose them one by one. Holding down the shift key or ctrl key does nothing. THe mouse cant do it. I don't see how to do it. Doing my Tetris game, I had to add over 300 files one by one. My next program (not a game) will require nearly 10,000 files. there is no way I'm going to enter them one by one. Am I overlooking something??
Thanks for any help on these 2 ??

1. erm I'm not sure, because the P&D wizard would install all files to the hard drive. Actaully, you could just not include the files you want on CD in the setup prog, and then the exe would simply get the CD Drive path (some API call) and access the files.
2. Probably not, you might have to use a 3rd party installer program, eg Installshield, Wise, VISE. They're better than the wizard anyway (the setups look more professional), but you have to pay
