    The Melting Clock paradox...

Either I'm totally screwed up from staying up all night coding...but I think your server clock's broken

    Unless it *is* 8:20am...

wasn't the melting clocks, a painting by Salvaor Dali ??

perhaps that is why the clocks are screwed ??

Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

    Perhaps.

Yep, it was something to do with Dali - time slows gradually down until it eventually stops.

that would explain the forums dying yesterday, time slowing down until it stopped.

Yes, I've heard of them, and they're set up perfectly. They always worked before, but now the clock is WAAAAY off.

No, really when I do screen captures, I just Paste into PBrush,
save as gif, and get this:

It must be Johns way of getting more hours in a day to work.

Just think of it, if everywhere we worked, their clocks worked off of the one here, but at home it was normal time.
Lets see, Get up at 6, get to work at 8, work 8 hrs, see at 4:00
its actually 11:00, work 5 more hours, go home, see that its 9:00,
    go to bed, and recycle.

Yeah, this is crazy! I had to set my time offset to GMT -2 to see the right times when it should be -6...

on the Vbulletin site, it explains that the site went down because of Mysql and that this has effected the time and it will be sorted out in the next couple of days

Thats the problem with his Time Server.

Every time he approaches it, he finds himself where he was 5 hours earlier!

And he was no where near it 5 hours earlier, or else it would have moved him back even 5 more hours, over and over again, until he WAS no where near it.

    heh, that'd be fun!
