Any good game demos for download ?

Im quite bored at the moment.
I have a lot of work to do, but I'm bored.

Anyone got a url for any good games for download ?
I downloaded mech warrior commander yesterday.
100 meg it was. Waste of time.

So anyone come across anything good ?

Im clueless about new games these days becuase they all pretty much suck. Nothing new. Ill just stick with Tribes 2 and Jumpgate. At least until Star Wars Galaxies comes out!

Well Im enjoying getting my ass kicked in Settlers III and Settlers IV, but I feel I need something a little different.

I'd play sentience if it was up to spec....

How about Max Payne....

Three years back a young NYPD cop, Max Payne, came home one night

im downloading FreeSpace now...anyone got a site where i can download DX7.1? becuse DX8 doesnt like my joystick

i remember freespace 1 on dvd, it was double sided. i played it once but it didnt like my joystick so i played the first level, with a joystick that always went to the upper right hand corner. the graphics were shweet on that. i had a wingman extreme digital (i still have it...DX8 dont like it)

I have one hooked up to USB, and it works like a dream.

mine isnt USB. i got it like the 2nd week it came out, and used it once or twice since. worked fine then. but tbeach says the joystick port isnt like by DX8.

Did yours come with a USB dongly thingy? Mine plugs into the dongly thingy and the dongly thingy plugs into the USB port.

I suppose I could always just buy one tomorrow, when I sober up after tonight's drinking session
