Repair Win7 using another Win7 computer
Are there any utilities, or is it possible to repair a windows 7 hard drive using another windows 7 computer (the hard drive will be connected via usb)?
I know you can create a win7 restore/repair disc which is what I'm wanting, but the hard drive will be connected to a fully working win7 computer via usb so I wont be booting using a win7 repair disc.

No can do... Can't you leave it in it's current machine and run the repair?

I could, but all of our drives are PGP encrypted, so to run the windows repair I have to use the PGP decryption "recovery" disc to unencrypt it then the windows repair would be able to fix windows, then we have to re-encrypt the drive. It takes roughly 7 to 8 hours to encrypt or decrypt these drives, was hoping to avoid wasting the time to decrypt it just because windows startup needed to be repaired.
When we connect a drive that's been pgp encrypted to another computer that also has pgp encryption, pgp prompts for the external drive's password and can access the filesystem just like any other drive, so I was hoping to be able to use a fully functional computer that has pgp on it to do the repair on the non-booting drive.

easybcd may be able to fix it. You can copy the boot loader from the good drive to the other one.

Yes, you can connect your hard drive to another Win7 system and repair it and you don't have to use a USB too, you can just unplug the CD drive on your system and put these cables in your hard drive that you want to connect with your Win7 system and it will do the trick for you.
