Zaf's article looks quite helpful, Microsoft state

as a reference which I think is the article I'm looking for.

Unfortunately my issues only go back to Feb 98 and I don't have access to their web archives (www.devx.com) you need to be a premier member to get access.

Maybe someone else has access to the archives and can get you the article.

Thanks anyway, I've just have a look at Zaf's article and it's not what I'm trying to do anyway.

If anyone knows anything about the Addressof operater beyond the fact that it returns a pointer to a function I'd like to know, It doesn't actually return a pointer to the function, It returns a pointer to something else which windows uses to run the code, If anyone knows anything about this post something up.
