    Ten Things Every .NET Developer Must Know

    1. Chinese Food is delicious
    2. So is pizza
    3. Actually italian food in general
    4. just not pizza hut pizza... i prefer papa johns or dominos
    5. Egg rolls are a must, or at least spring rolls
    6. And im not talking about Panda Express, im talking a real Chinese restaraunt that writes your check in chinese
    7. Steve Jobs is no longer alive*
    8. Nor is Jesus
    9. Is this 10 yet?
    10. Coffee bean > Starbucks

    The actual 10 things every .Net developer must know to be guarenteed a job:

    1. VB and C#
    2. SQL
    3. Some form of web skills such as HTML5, javascript, php, etc.
    4. Databases & data management
    5. People skills
    6. Knowledgeable of Windows, UNIX, and iOS technologies.
    7. Some experience with C++ and Java
    8. Bill Gates is still alive and possibly watching you since Windows is integrated with NSA API's.
    9. Donuts will make bosses happy.
    10. Being a nerd was worth it

    Sadly I qualify not even half the criteria

    1. Knowing that a casual coder or even a programmer isn't necessarily a developer.

    Ten things every developer should know:-
    0) Indexes start at position zero
    1) The intelligence distribution curve of the entire internet is pretty much the same as anywhere else - about half the up stuff there is total rubbish
    3) Your indexes need defragmenting sometimes
    2) brevity is not the same as clarity
    4) your backup plan and disaster recovery plan is insufficient - disasters are messier than your plans assumed
    5) No good list of ten things actually has ten things in
