    What OS are you using?

I'm running Windows 2000 SP1 (SP2 screwed up PartitionMagic). It works great for Quake 3, Descent 3, Premiere, Photoshop, ATI TV Wonder, Winamp, and VB.

    Dual boot:

    Windows 3.1
    Windows XP

One's a little faster than the other....

XP boots in 30 seconds for me, provided you change the start menu from the new style to the "classic" view. But then again I guess 3.1 would boot in 15 on a P3-933 with 512 MB of RAM.

Windows Me because I'm a retard
    ?
"Windows Me because it came with the computer and you can't be arsed to pay £ 200+ for Win2K"....slightly less offensive.

okay, I can imagine downloading warez apps such as Flash, Office, stuff like that (hell, I've even done i myself) but downloading an entire OS is madness. It would take forever.

I know someone *cough* who downloaded Windows XP without paying the $10 . It took 16 hours on cable at a mind-numbing 10 KB/sec.

dos is good, there's some stuff with fileops you'll never get done in windows

    anyways

    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows Whistler Professional" /fastdetect

I download win2k pro and win2k advanced server...

But at this timer, I am using win 98 because I dont have the hardware requirements that win2k advanced server needs.

I also tried win2k pro but it was slower than win98 on 64 MB so I switched back to windows 98

Go with Windows 2000. Only ancient DOS games don't work with it.

Mandrake is easy to use but it uses KDE, which sucks ***. It is the ONLY part of Linux that crashes ALL the time. Use Gnome instead, or good ol' X-Windowsless mode (console only).

BTW, a pet peeve. Duel is when you fight someone. Dual is double of something.
