VB-World image

The VB-World image at the upper left of the forum (you know, in the blue link bar) is a JPEG. It should seriously be a gif.. just look at the horrendous blurring and burning around all the edges.

I wouldn't know, because like nearly everyone else I am using the VB Square look to get rid of that ***damn Sprinks popup. You sold out, John.

John did not sell out. He got some revenue to buy better servers to keep VB-World humming along efficiently. If he hadn't you would have been complaining about server busy errors...they used to happen all the time. Now they don't. I think I can put up with popups if it means I get something better in return......geesh!!

Anyway, I hate popups. Don't advertisers know that users will just close the window without even looking at it? Banners (like the unintrusive ones on VB Forums) are much better. About.com used to be cool, they suck now.

Actually, I think About is okay. Their 2 banner don't really take up much space, and plus, it adds to the look of VB-World. Those rounded edges on the main table of the page would look weird if the About.com stuff wasn't there.

If you blame anything, blame sprinks. (notice I said anything not anyone.)
