Social networks buttons causing major issue

These buttons are causing major issue for me at work - they are being filtered and are replaced with images that cover lots of real estate (cannot post screenshot).
    Can they be removed, please?

I'd need to see that screen shot. People are asking for the ability to share more. The social media buttons at the post level take up zero additional space that wasn't already being used. The thread level social media buttons do take up about a half inch of vertical space on a thread page; however, most of us believed the value of being able to easily share a thread or thread topic outweighed that small amount of real estate. If you are seeing something more than that being used, then is this something happening on your work system (something we don't control)?

The problem isn't used space but policy that business may enforce. The result of that instead of buttons you see company's logo with some "this was blocked" message plus some other stuff.
This varies from business to business but for us regular users it's a nightmare. Those images/messages/etc blocking stuff is overlapping all links at the top (thread tools, etc).
Also, everything else is shifted down. Sorry Brad but I wouldn't be able to post image.

Can you just leave bottom icons and remove buttons?

The buttons we've included are standard industry buttons. As such, while I understand what you are describing, it seems like a corporate policy that should be changed on your side.

As compromise, if a number of other people can confirm the same policy is in place and impacting them, then we can review this closer; however, those buttons are everywhere on the internet now, so it seems like this forum is the least of the places that are going to get messed up......

Why not simply implement a stealth mode for vbforums?
