    Lightbulb

    While I'm hanging around...

I suggest a different area where people go to post code, tips and ideas but not ask questions or post problems. (People with problems got to where the people are so more problem areas aren't necessesarily needed)

    People then give feedback etc

You could add a voting system too and if enough people think the tip/code is good (or improved enough) it could be added to the VB-Tips page.

You could post an algorithm you want others to improve but the idea is that the posted code already works to some extent.

(have a few guidlines on how to format, comment code etc too, I hate when people pastes huge amounts of code without using the 'code' tag)

Sort of like VB-world's contribution to open source

What to you think? It might help with some of the team efforts that are organised though this place.

    Cheers

We do have something like this in the system, although a bit more comprehensive. Watch out for it, probably at some point over the summer.

    Thumbs up

    Great!

This place is very active isn't it!
    I'll look out for it.

Planet-source-code has something similar to what you're suggesting, I think...
