    Wait for .net to get MCSD?

    Probably another month or so of casual studying and I am confident that I could pass the MCSD. I'm just wondering is it worth the ($400 i think) to take the 4 tests now when .net is coming.

    I wonder if I'll have to take 4 more tests to upgrade my cert when the time comes or will be a 1 or 2 test upgrade path. I imagine since it's a significant upgrade in software it will be more than 2 tests.

    There'll almost certainly be a version of the MSCE for .NET, so go for the test as soon as you are confident you will do well.
