HEhe, another Collaboration starter. This time with Direct Draw, I suppose you could tell a little more about it, I'm interested. I don't have the SDK yet, but soon, very soon.
Use
writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
writing haskell makes your life easier:
reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.

I'm not making this RPG with DirectX, I'm using Direct Draw, you don't need the SDK for it, I have a custom control. A quick note: This project will be freeware.

Another note: DDraw is a part of the DirectX API...

ok, just a control to use direct draw? Then count me in. I'm not an artist,(people don't seem to be artists here) but I can do pretty much heavy math, graphical functions, files, and have 7y of experince with Vb. Game developing is my speciality

YES, I want to join, too. I'm really good in programming games, especially using DirectDraw 7!
