Gen. (Shameless Advertisement!)
Gen is a game that I wrote in VB quite some time ago. If any of you remember Gen and/or care, my new site address is http://surf.to/dgz , and you can find Gen there. I've gotten lots of complaints over the last few weeks because I removed the file while I was remodeling the site... I didn't know it was that popular. This is one of the only places I advertised Gen, so I can only assume that people dug up the link from this forum.
I'm also working on quite a few newer VB related projects (mostly games) for you to look forward to...

Cheers
Gen is a brilliant and very addictive game, it was all over the computers at my school and that is about 120!!!
keep up the good work
Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

Gen is a fun game and was all over my school as well! I like the post name ("Gen. (Shameless Advertisement!)") LOL, this is the chit chat forum... advertisements are alloud for anything you want... espically cool games like this! Oh yeah, I like the "Zero" too. Great handle

Hey Zmerlinz, what school do you go to? I wouldn't be surprised if we went to the same school...
If you liked Gen, I have three more projects on the way. One is a Gen update, with new graphics, updated code, and possibly directX / Internet play support. The second is a Tetris clone, but with a few new innovations. You'll have to wait and see what the third is, though...

It may be a cool game, but those ***damn popups on your redirector aren't.

Yeah, yeah.
You want to pay for a real URL? Once I get everything set up I'm going to set up a top frame ad on a page that will delay 10 seconds and then transfer you to the site- Without the top frame. Complete with a spiffy animated logo, of course.
I hate using Javascript, though.
