Does anybody know how i should go about programming a program like Kahn or Kali. All i want to make is a simple program to connect 2 or more computers and allow them to play games like warcraft 2 trough IPX network. Anybody know how i could go about doing this? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRICIATED! THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!
ok, so... windows takes 1 minute to search for a file on my PC yet google.com takes 1 second to search the entire internet?

Hello, well, if u got a network and have IPX setup, then u can just play games using each other's network IP, if u want to make a program that does it, then the first thing u need to know is whether or not these programs have command line options, and then execute these games from the program and add the IP addresses thru the command line, for example if it were quake2, u would call quake2 like this: "quake2.exe +connect 255.255.255.255" and that would start quake2 and it'll connect to the IP address...

Well im not really looking of starting a network at my house but im thinking of creating an IPX network for people over the world to connect and play games like Warcraft 2 that have that option trough it. Would i still use the parameters for that? ... im not exactly sure, but it dosent look like Kahn or Kali do it.. maybe im wrong, who knows?!

You can't use IPX/SPX over TCP/IP via the Internet. If you want to use the Internet as a transport for online gaming you'll need to use and base all information via TCP/IP routing rather than IPX/SPX and also the games will need DirectX TCP/IP Support.
