Linux NASM problem
Ok, i have a small distrobution i got off the internet. I cant get a normal one because my computer is too old and i dont have the money. I dont have any compilers (gcc, g++, etc...) so i cant compile any source code that i download off the net. But i wanted to program in linux. so i downloaded nasm because its the only thing for linux i can find that comes compiled. I ran it on my system and i get the error "Segmentation fault". I went to the nasm web site, and this is an error they know about. They said it happens on Red Hat system (which i guess mine is) and that the only solution is to download the source and compile it your self. Which i cant do because i dont have any compilers. So my question is, could somebody send me a copy of nasm that they compiled on their own system? Or a copy of any other assembler thats compiled. It would be greatly appreciated. My email is [email protected]. Thanks.
