    UPDATE: Moderation

Comments? I know this has been done before, but the poll is more specific and all serious.

This is the **** that goes on in the everyday world. If people can't handle the word "damn" or bad flames about someone's mom then what are they doing in chit chat?

Okay guys this has gone on long enough. We have had so many posts about 'Why we hate moderation" and "Reasons moderation is bad." Im sick of coming here and only seeing you guys whine about this moderation thing. Suck it up and move on with your lives.

I just posted the thread because it was a hot topic. I was getting sick of it too.

I gave the "stop trashing" option

The thing is - if people take offence they should SAY SO rather than going anonymously whining to John who hasn't got the time to sort it all out. The moderators are there to take the work away from him, I agree, but it doesn't solve the problem.

If you take offence with something we've said, you can either post a reply, or PM us if you want to stay private - I don't mind if someone takes offence at one of my posts as long as it's for a good reason. If they just dislike me making my normal comments then that's their problem not mine - if they dislike me saying something about their mom (Kovan you should have told me if you didn't like it!) then I'm prepared to stop.

And honeybee, that means if you don't like something and it's not for a good, democratic reason, ignore it and move on.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty balanced for me It's worrying how I'm sometimes capable of surprising maturity

    *phew*

Was getting concerned there for a minute! Thought I was beginning to grow up into a responsible adult

Never want to be one of those

It's very over-rated. You spend the first 17 years of your life wanting to be older, then 1 being just the right age, then after that....BUGGER!!
