Could a forum be set up for ASP along. As more VB develpers do ASP it makes sense.

    Hi Scott,
I think you'll find that these guys are running all their stuff on Linux, so no ASP for you I'm afriad.

I don't think that Sam quite got the question there... We are currently thinking about forums and what we should and shouldn't have. So if anyone has suggestions, this is the place to post!

Suggestion #1... a forum for ASP developers.

I think that forum for C++ would be the best thing you could do (besides VB Forum of course )

    Smile new language

Either a C++ or assembly forum would be cool. =)

I never go elsewhere than General VB Questions forum, so if you're going to split it up i don't like it. I've always wanted a little more user customization for this site, ie the interface. Now when you changed it to purple, i'm getting sick. I want to change the colors in my own favour.

And also I want to customize my "own forum" where all the threads from the forums i've checked in my profiles can be viewed. This would be a good solution if you're going to split up the General Questions.

    Use
writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
writing haskell makes your life easier:
    reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.

The API Site's a good Idea, I like the Idea of an assembler site too, It's something I want to learn, There's been suggestions before about a forum for posts with no replies, this is a great Idea, or even just a link to a search for things with no replies like the currently active topics link. I don't know if this ones a particularaly goot Idea but can we have a windows architecture forum as well for questions about how windows works behind the scenes.

Otherwise I'm impressed with the changes, Not content with being the Best VB site on the net I see you want to be the best site for every language.

I think the new board looks great and thanks for including my suggestion. There are other boards on the web and they are all good, but I think this one has great technology and a great group of people who really want to help each other.

    thanks again.

    Unhappy Kedaman's got a point

I'm very sorry John, but Kedaman's got a point:
Purple isn't a very nice colour to wake up to first thing
    in the morning.

(Unless it's the colour of the bra of your bed partner )

PS John, will you be my friend?

    Bad colors

The colors used in this are pretty but not good for the eyes. It's hard to read into this colors I think.
