XP Visual Styles- DateTimePicker

Ok heres the issue.. The DateTimePicker Control.

My App (A Point Of Sale) is designed for touchscreen, large chunky buttons, textboxes etc...
The one issue is the DTP! You can NOT change the dropdown backcolor, font, etc unless you disable the XP visual styles for the app. This makes everything look really bad and OLD lol. Kind of amazing that this is really an option....
especially since its XP!! XP was released 12 years ago! lol
SO i need to make the dropdown large so that fingers can easily hit the dates

is there a way to disable the visual style for JUST the DTP? is there another date time picker?

No and no. Sorry. What's worse, it's next to impossible to customise by the usual inheritance route. But the good news is .... nope, there ain't any!
