just saying if it was me i would like to know times that my website has been hit by DIFFERENT people not by the same ppl refreshing the site , well i refreshed it i guess 5 times and even some of those times i couldnt read the number, was like 6 and 1 on top of eachother,
anyway dotn use white as a background color (my opinion) , and keep up the good work

I piggyback szlamany and Pc Monk. The horizontal news scroller at the bottom is a kind of strain to the eyes. Maybe you can get a smooth scroller by making using of some javascript(I think there is a marquee plugin written for jQuery that smoothens a bit. Google it!)
Or, maybe you you can use a different way to display the news. Say, the current news fades out and the new one fades in. It would be better, I think.

@PC Monk: he is using the counter provided by a third party.
@TheiMp: maybe you should choose a different service provider for that free counter. But if I were you, I don't want to show that number of visitors to the visitors themselves! There is no need of that counter, unless you want to show them that "I have this much visitors to my site!". Otherwise, if it is for just your own knowledge, I mean to track the visitors, you could use some hidden third party services. I think the best is provided freely by Google itself. Check it out.

I like the background color. It's a grey shade (#f7f7f7), not fully white (#ffffff) ! In my monitor, it looks good. BTW, I am keeping my monitor's brightness and contrast lower. :P

I like the logo too. It perfectly blends in. Maybe you could use that blue color in some other parts of the page, say, for the links or for headings, etc. to give a pro look. Also, you should try using a better font-family. Maybe, try using Google's web fonts. They look beautiful, but sometimes in low bandwidth connections, it might take some time to load up. So, you can choose a good font based on the loading time mentioned in Google Webfont directory itself.

And the main suggestion I have to put forward is, avoid using Frames in your page indefinetly for each and every thing. Some disadvantages: http://www.quackit.com/html/disadvan...tml_frames.cfm

For the layout of a page, use DIV elements. Or, if you are not able to follow that kind of layout, atleast try the TABLE layout (I don't recommend it)

These are just my suggestions and thoughts. Don't hurry. Just improve it step by step. Good luck.

You're right, I hate Frames too. But then there's no way to get around it that I need to have them there because of the fact that I am trying to keep somethings on the Browser Window. Also I have Web Cloud Apps and then that means that you save to your local disk, or even your networked disk. But then everything you work on is kept on the Internet on my Web Cloud space...

PS: I got ribbed when the last time that I had posted a Thread on the General Discussion Forum, so then chosen a different avenue instead...

well there is a way, not <frame> ! its <div> and it is the same as <frame> since <frame> is an error in w3c ( or warning dont remember)
what a bad third party anyway
another opinion : these third party counters are most coded the wrong way ( same script different style)
