Acess...making a .mde file

hi

i have created a access gui infront of a database. i now want to make it into a .mde file so know one can access the table!

i have tried going into the menu and select create .mde file but i get an error

am i doing sommthing wrong

telling us what the error is would be helpful...

the error is

"Microsoft Access was unable to create an MDE database"

and that it! completely useless i know!!

the thing is i have tried to put it on someone elses PC and create this .mde file but still no luck!!

is there certain setting i must configure first~??

the thing is that im using acess 2000!

uhmm.... this is puzeling!

In that case try this one. It's a list of known issues by microsoft, regarding that error. By bet is on the 4th and 9th and... good luck!!
