How can I get the CPU Speed out of a Win95/98 machine?
I know NT has it stored in the registry, but I cant for the life of me work out how to grab this from a non-NT machine.
This has been bugging me for months now,
Thanks in advance

I finally found it. CPU information for Win95/98 is also store in the registry. It is a DWORD value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Scrunch
The Value name is CPU Clock Speed
That's it.

Yeah, I found that key as well, but some of my friends machines dont have this key. I found it just after installing SiSoft Sandra Pro, so I belive its just a key from that program..
