Please can some one give the code for java (GUI)whereby somebody will come and submit their

hobby

and a button to save the data to a file
and a button to erase the data
and a button to find a record
and a button to edit

What you are asking for is not that complex but a little on the time consuming side........ since a JAVA GUI has to be asembled. If you have a bussiness dont you have any IT people on staff? Im assuming that your bussiness is just starting off and you have a small staff. If your collecting data where is it going to be saved? Not in a flat file i hope. Why not use Visual Basic with ACCESS. You can assemble a nice little database and a front end GUI rather quickly....

You need a GUI or how else are you going to collect your information, plus i have no clue how implement a JAVA database into a program. If you need somthing in a hurry why dont you use VB with ACCESS?

Yes this is true. Money is the great motivator but, it's not the point of helping someone in the hopes of getting monetary reward (at leat for me) it's to help them understand what they are doing. and why they are doing it.

Yeah, well, i don't mind helping people if they have made an honest attempt to try it themselves, but, i think that it defeates the purpose of this place for people to just start putting up work orders
